McKenzie was a Northeast-10 all-star in each of her three seasons at AIC, earning first-team honors her junior and senior campaigns and second-team honors as a sophomore. She led the Yellow Jackets to three consecutive NCAA tournament appearances from 2000-02.

McKenzie was also a two-time ECAC second-team selection (2000-01, 01-02) and was named to the 2001-02 Daktronics All-Region team. She led the team in rebounding in each of her three seasons with the Yellow Jackets and was also the team’s leading scorer as a junior, averaging a double-double with 16.4 points and 10.4 rebounds per game. At the conclusion of her collegiate career, she held or shared five school records in rebounding and blocked shots and ranked among AIC’s all-time scoring (seventh – 1,373 points) and rebounds (third – 1,020 rebounds). McKenzie was just the third player in program history to score 1,000 points and grab 1,000 rebounds in her career.

She has since gone on to play professionally in Europe for teams in Holland, Luxemburg and, most recently, Switzerland. McKenzie led the Perik Jumpers to the 2007 Dutch Cup final, was selected to play in the Dutch Eredivisie All-Star Game in 2007 after averaging 18.6 points and 14.2 rebounds per contest, and ranked second in rebounding at the 2007 FIBA Europe Cup. She averaged 15.5 points and 10.1 rebounds for Switzerland’s Sdent Sierre at the 2008 EuroCup.
