Jim Pell was a force on the soccer pitch while at AIC and is arguably the most gifted offensive player to wear an AIC uniform, finishing his career as the program’s all-time leader in points (94) and goals (41) in just 40 career games played. He scored a school-record 14 goals and tallied a school-record 33 points while leading AIC to a 7-3-0 record in 1967, setting a then-program record for wins in a season. His single-season scoring marks stood until 1982 and his career scoring records stood until 2000 when 18-game seasons were the new standard.
