Glenn Dumont, a football standout for the Yellow Jackets from 1967-69, still ranks as the No. 4 rusher in school history, racking up 2,823 yards over his three-year career. He holds several school records, including rushing touchdowns in a game (5), points scored in a game (32), punt return yards in a season (319) and career (785) and longest punt return (85 yards). He was an Honorable Mention All-America in 1967 and was a three-time All-New England and All-ECAC team selection. Dumont is still the second-leading scorer in Yellow Jacket history with 242 points.

Following graduation, the native of Winslow, Maine was a 14th round draft choice of the Kansas City Chiefs. He worked as a teacher as well as football coach at his alma mater, Winslow High School, for 11 years and led Winslow to Maine Class B titles in 1973 and 1976.
