Wright was the head ice hockey coach for over three decades, leading the program into its Division I era. He is the program’s all-time wins leader and, combined with his service as head golf coach, is one of two coaches to lead AIC in over 1,000 games. He earned the 2022 John ‘Snooks’ Kelley Founders Award from the American Hockey Coaches Association.
