Amanda Matthews is one of the most decorated women’s soccer players in program history. She was named the 1998 Northeast-10 Player of the Year after leading the Yellow Jackets to a school-record 15 wins that included the program’s first-ever conference title and first-ever berth in the NCAA championship tournament. A three-time first-team all-conference and three-time all-region selection, Matthews finished her career as the program’s career assist leader (33) and was second all-time in career goals (34) and points (101). She also held the single-season records for points and assists after tallying 16 goals with 13 assists for 45 points in 1997 and dished out a school-record 14 assists in 1998.
