Judith Swift is one of the most talented female athlete’s ever at AIC, starring as a member of the lacrosse, soccer and volleyball teams. She was a two-time Northeast-10 all-conference selection (1997-98), earned all-region honors in 1997 from the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA), led the Yellow Jackets to the program’s first Northeast-10 and ECAC tournament championships in 1996 and was named the 1996 ECAC Tournament MVP. Swift finished her career as the program’s career record-holder in kills (1,583), digs (1,428) and blocks (524) and ranked second in career service aces (193). Her 559 kills and 475 digs in 1997 were also program records when she finished playing.

Swift was also a member of the women’s lacrosse team, which was established in 1997, and was a two-time Northeast-10 all-conference selection, earning first-team honors in 1999 and second-team honors in 2000. She was the program’s first 100-point scorer and finished her career as the program’s career record-holder in points (112) and assists (20) and was second in career goals (92). She also once held the program’s single-season records in goals, assists and points in a season. Swift also played one season with the women’s soccer program, scoring six goals with one assist for 13 points in 18 games played.
