Four from Men's Lacrosse earn NEILA All-Academic honors

SOUTH HADLEY, Massachusetts - The New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association announced its 2026 All-Academic Teams, naming four members of the American International College men's lacrosse team to the Division II All-Academic squad.

Per the organization, "nominees must have a senior or graduate student standing with no eligibility remaining or plans to use their eligibility in New England, a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale, and be an impact player for their team."

AIC's selections were Riley McGraw, Ryan Levis, Camden MacDonald, and Rowan Ruggiero.

McGraw, a physical therapy major, played 15 games as a defender and long-stick midfielder in 2026 for the Yellow Jackets, scoring four goals and grabbing 71 ground balls while forcing 28 turnovers. 

Levis, a multi-time CSC Academic All-District selection majoring in athletic administration, and was part of the SAAC Executive Board, started 15 games and forced 12 turnovers with 25 ground balls in 2026; across his four seasons, he grabbed 93 ground balls and forced 48 turnovers while scoring three goals and one assist.

MacDonald, a digital marketing major, started 11 of 15 games and had his best season in an AIC uniform, scoring seven times and adding eight assists for 15 points, and also snared 23 ground balls and had seven takeaways. In 44 career games he scored 13 goals and 14 assists. 

Ruggiero, a physical therapy major, was unable to compete in 2026 due to injury, but nevertheless was a critical leader to the team and campus. He was SAAC Vice-President and serves as the NE10 SAAC Representative on the national DII SAAC. He was AIC's NE10 Man of the Year nominee, and the winner of the Lt. Alvin J. Carocari Award for outstanding leadership and meaningful contributions to AIC athletics.
