COLONIA, New Jersey – The East Coast Conference announced its 2026 Spring Academic Honor Roll selections on Wednesday, June 24, with 11 members of the American International College men's volleyball team earning recognition.
To earn the award, student-athletes must hold a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.25 on a four-point scale.
"I'm proud to hear about our program-record 11 selections for the ECC Commissioner's Honor Roll this season. It means everything to see our student-athletes treat academics and athletics with equal importance, dedicating themselves to both long hours in the gym and in the books. Their hard work and balance set a powerful example of what it means to be a true student-athlete and a Yellow Jacket," Head Coach Wade Robidoux said.
Four of AIC's student-athletes have won the award in each of the three seasons that the Yellow Jackets have been members of the ECC, with seniors Victor Alamo and Fabian Lugo joining juniors Willie Lopez Morales and Aidan Miller as three-time honorees. Lugo and Miller each also earned CSC At-Large Academic All-District honors for 2025-26.
Toreign Foster and McBenedict Mweze, both sophomores, earned the award for the second time in their careers.
AIC's first-time winners include sophomore Armani Anderson and freshmen Spencer Boucher, Jamilson Depina Almeida, Gianfranco Semararo-Bellanca, and Dymittry Terra.
The 11 total accolades is the most in a single season in the three years the program has been in the ECC; the team had six selections in 2024 and seven in 2025, giving the Yellow Jackets 24 total.
