MANSFIELD, Massachusetts – Dahvey Hicks of the American International College football team was named the Northeast-10 Conference Rookie of the Year, the conference office announced on Wednesday, November 16.

Hicks, the first player from AIC to receive the Rookie of the Year Award in football since Kevin Arduino '14 did so in 2011, was the Yellow Jackets premiere threat on offense. He tied the NE10 lead with 56 catches and was third in receiving yards per game at 67.4.
In addition to his Rookie of the Year selection, he was named a Second-Team All-Conference and All-Rookie honoree.
AIC additionally earned two First-Team All-Conference selections on the defensive line, with Trevor Catlin and Ahmad Rabah tackling the accolade.
Catlin collected 38 tackles, including three sacks, and made a fumble recover. Rabah notched 40 tackles, and was second in the NE10 with nine sacks. His 11 tackles for loss were fifth in the conference. He also forced three fumbles.
