SPRINGFIELD, Massachusetts – American International College Head Football Coach Dan Chipka announced the hiring of Marcus Price and Rickeem Jackson as Assistant Football Coaches.

Price will serve as running backs coach, while Jackson will serve as wide receivers coach.

"I am excited to be back on State Street, where my college football career began. It is an honor to be back at AIC, and I look forward to developing the next group of Yellow Jacket backs," Price said.

"We are excited to welcome Coach Price back to AIC, where he began his college career under Coach Art Wilkins. Coach Price has an outstanding reputation throughout the northeast region, with deep recruiting ties to Central Massachusetts. I am confident that our group of running backs will heighten their overall play under Marcus' leadership and direction," Chipka said.

Jackson is looking forward to working with Chipka, saying "Coach Chipka will lead American International College to the mountain top this upcoming season. I truly appreciate the ample amounts of support we have received from Administration. The buzz within our student body during spring camp was electrifying. This upcoming season this fall will be one for the ages."

In turn, Chipka said of Jackson "We are really fortunate to have Coach Jackson join our coaching staff, working with the wide receivers. Rickeem has a rich coaching experience at many levels with numerous recruiting connections both in the northeast and in south Florida. Just in his short time with our football program, we have seen noticeable gains and I am excited to see our player's overall development with Coach Jackson."

Price most recently was the offensive quality control assistant and assistant running backs coach at Bryant University for the 2025 season. In his role, he supported the offensive coaches in daily practice preparation and pre- and post-game tasks as well as in recruiting, as well as focusing on the mentoring and development of running backs.

He spent 2023-2025 at Worcester State University as the running backs coach, leading all aspects of the position. Additionally, he oversaw and organized the kickoff unit on both sides for the Lancers.

Price has a bachelor's degree in urban studies from Worcester State.

Jackson brings both Division I and NFL experience to the Yellow Jackets. Most recently he was the offensive analyst for the University of Pittsburgh from February 2023 to March 2024, helping the Panthers to a win over then-14th-ranked Louisville.

While at Pittsburgh, he worked with the Miami Dolphins in May and June 2023 thanks to the Bill Walsh Internship.

Before his time at Pittsburgh, Jackson gained significant experience at the Division II level with Lake Erie College as the co-defensive coordinator and safeties coach, also serving as the team's recruiting coordinator from July 2022 to February 2023. He coached First-Team All-G-MAC selection Cameren Grodhaus among three all-G-MAC selections from the Storm's defense.

Jackson was a wider receiver at Robert Morris University, appearing in 13 games and hauling in 22 catches for 265 yards and a touchdown in 2011-12. He graduated from Robert Morris in 2013 with a bachelor's degree in social science, and earned a master's degree in psychology from the University of Phoenix in 2022.
