The Don Hansen Football Gazette All-Region Committee released its 2019 NCAA Division II All-Super Region 1 squad on Monday, December 30. Junior defensive lineman and Northeast-10 Defensive Lineman of the Year Isiah Tolbert earned First-Team honors.

Tolbert was the second-leading tackler on the team with 71 tackles. His claim to fame this season was his seven sacks for a loss of 46 yards as well as 18 tackles for a loss of 71 yards, both of which were top-two for defensive linemen in the NE10. Additionally, he had a pair of pass break-ups, two forced fumbles, one interception, and one fumble recovery.

The Don Hansen team carries out the legacy of long-time small college football advocate Don Hansen, who passed away at age 75 on Aug. 29, 2010. Hansen, from Brookfield, Ill., started and published Don Hansen's National Weekly Football Gazette for three decades, selecting NCAA Division II All-America teams for the first time in 1988. Don Hansen's FB Gazette began selecting Division II All-Region squads in 2003.
