Indianapolis, Ind. – For the first time in program history, the American International College football team has been selected to participate in the NCAA Division II football championship tournament. The Yellow Jackets are seeded third in Super Region I and will host Seton Hill Saturday at John Homer Miller Field at noon.

The game will be broadcast live in the greater Springfield area on 91.9 FM WAIC. Fans will also be able to listen to the game online at AICYellowJackets.com. Tickets will cost $6 for adults and $3 for students, children and senior citizens. ALL fans must purchase a ticket at the gate to gain entry into the game.

AIC went 9-1 during the regular season, including a school-record nine consecutive wins to open the season, and won the Northeast-10 championship with a perfect 7-0 league record. The conference title was the third in program history and its first since 2000.

The Yellow Jackets nine wins are the second-most in program history and mark the programs highest win total since 2000 when AIC went 10-1. The Yellow Jackets also won nine games in 1999 when they captured their first-ever conference championship.
