NEW ORLEANS, Louisiana – A total of 12 USTFCCCA All-East Region honors were claimed by 11 American International College track and field student-athletes for the 2026 Outdoor Track and Field season, the organization announced on Wednesday, May 13.

The USTFCCCA recognizes the top five individuals in each event as All-Region, as well as the top three relays.

Baker finished second in the East in the 100-meter dash in 10.56 seconds and fourth in the 200-meter dash in 21.41 seconds to garner a pair of individual accolades. They are his first two All-Region awards as an individual.

Junior Grant grabbed a fifth-place finish in the region in 47.90 seconds in the 400-meter dash to take his first Outdoor All-Region individual honor and his second overall following earning the status for the Indoor 200-meter dash earlier in the season.

Romel Plummer was second in the East with an NCAA Provisional Qualifying time of 52.33 seconds in the 400-meter hurdles, and like Grant took his first individual Outdoor All-Region honor after earning an Indoor All-Region selection in the 60-meter dash previously this season.

Rounding out the men's individual honors was Harvey Lys. The rookie added an Outdoor All-Region accolade in the high jump to his Indoor All-Region honor in the same event, clearing 1.95 meters to finish fourth in the East.

AIC's 4x100-meter relay team and 4x400-meter relay teams both finished third in the East to earn All-Region honors. The 4x100-meter relay, which posted a time of 41.25 seconds, featured Mike Ricketts, Baker, Nicardo Clarke, and Romel Plummer, while the 4x400-meter relay, which had a time of 3:15.88, was made up of Grant, Kevin Brady, Ricketts, and Plummer.

That brings Baker's career Outdoor All-Region total to three and gives him four in total, alongside his role on the 2025 All-Region 4x400-meter relay; Plummer likewise has four for his career, split the same way. Grant's career total is three, with the two Outdoor All-Region and one Indoor All-Region honors.

Ricketts' two honors follow his one Indoor All-Region selection from 2025, also on the 4x400-meter relay to bring his career total to three, while Brady earns his second, having been the anchor leg of that relay for his previous Indoor award. Clarke's award was his first in either season.

On the women's side, Adam continued to impress by taking fifth in the long jump at 5.78 meters and fourth in the triple jump at 11.55 meters; they are her first two Outdoor All-Region honors and third overall after she earned recognition during the Indoor season in the Triple Jump.

Ebanks took third in the 100-meter dash for her first Outdoor All-Region honor, clocking a time of 11.99 seconds; she also has three awards total for her career, having earned two Indoor All-Region honors earlier this season in the 60-meter dash and 200-meter dash.

Sydnee Collins snared her second 200-meter dash recognition and first Outdoor All-Region selection to pair with her Indoor All-Region accolade from earlier in the campaign, finishing fifth in the East with a 24.85-second time.

Finally, Johnelle Thomas closed her career with a final 400-meter hurdle Outdoor All-Region accolade, coming in fourth in 1:02.97. That caps an impressive return to form for the graduate student, who previously was All-Region in the event in 2021, 2022, and 2023, and also earned one other Outdoor All-Region and one Indoor All-Region honor in the 4x400-meter relay in 2021 and 4x100-meter relay in 2022 for six total recognitions.
