EASTON, Massachusetts - Hawaye Adam's first leap was her best - and it turns out, the best in six states.

She won the triple jump with a distance of 11.55 meters, besting a field of 14 that included four Division I athletes to take a gold medal and lead AIC's contingent at the 2026 NEICAAA Championship on Saturday, May 9 at Stonehill College.

Overall, AIC's women were 10th of 23 teams, while the men finished 11th of 20 teams.

In addition to winning the triple jump, Adam was second in the long jump at 5.74 meters.

Jodiann Ebanks ran the 100-meter dash in 11.99 seconds to take a silver medal.

Justin Baker grabbed the bronze in the 100-meter dash on the men's side in 10.64 seconds,while Romel Plummer also podiumed, taking silver in the 400-meter hurdles in 53.28 seconds.
