BOSTON, Massachusetts - The American International College track and field team competed at the Gordon Kelly Invitational hosted by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology on Saturday, January 24.

On the women's side, Jodiann Ebanks led AIC's sprinting contingent with a 1:03.26 time in the 400-meter dash, while Hawaye Adams took seventh in the triple jump with a leap of 10.41 meters.

For the men, Vasillios Parsley ran 2:01.59 in the 800-meter run, finishing sixth overall. He also ran the second leg of the 4x400-meter relay which, along with Romel Plummer, Junior Grant, and Kevin Brady, finished second in 3:25.81; adjusted for being on a flat rather than banked track, that time is second in the NE10 this season and less than 0.6 seconds off the top time.

Saundrae Palmer Jr. was AIC's top field athlete, reaching the finals of the long jump and taking fifth with a 6.61 meter leap. Kareem Jeffries-Hazard took eighth in the weight throw at 14.77 meters.

The team will next head to Boston University for the John Thomas Terrier Classic on Friday, January 30.
