BALTIC, Connecticut - The American International College men's golf team hit the jackpot at the Mohegan Sun Country Club on Monday, April 20, as the team won Eastern Connecticut State University's Spring Invitational, and Brendan Raymond led the way with an even-par 71 to earn the individual title.

Playing at the 6690-yard course fit AIC's style well, as evidenced by the Yellow Jackets being the only team to score under 300 for the tournament. Raymond was a model of consistency all day, keeping even in both the front nine and the back nine to edge out his teammate Aryan Sharma, who finished second with a 1-over 72.

Max Shepardson and Mylhian Toden each shot 6-over 77s to round out AIC's four scorers, who finished a full 17 strokes ahead of second-place Roger Williams University at 314 strokes.

AIC will be right back in action on Tuesday, April 21 at 12:00 p.m. at Wilbraham Country Club to face Western New England University and Springfield College in the City Championship.
