SPRINGFIELD, Massachusetts - The American International College women's soccer team fell 2-0 to D'Youville University on Wednesday, September 16.
AIC is now 3-2-0 on the season.
Both Saints goals were off of set pieces. Gabrielle Giesing blasted home a free kick at 24:54, while Emily Stefik scored directly on a corner kick at 79:55.
Sara Avery took the loss with two saves in 45 minutes in the first half;
Hedda Haukland made three stops on four chances in the 45 minutes of the second frame.
AIC next visits No. 7 Bentley University on Friday, September 18 at 4:30 p.m.
