NORTH ATTLEBORO, Massachusetts – The Northeast 10 Conference announced its inaugural NE10 Athletic Communications Student-Worker All-Conference Team on Wednesday, June 10.
American International College's Kora Juliano earned one of the five spots on the first-of-its-kind squad.
Student-workers from across the 10-member conference were selected from a pool of nominees submitted and voted on by the athletic communications staffs within the league; each institution was permitted to nominate up to two of its student staff and each staff as a collective had one vote.
"I'm incredibly honored to be selected to the inaugural NE10 Athletic Communications Student-Worker All-Conference Team. Having played softball and been involved in sports my entire life, athletics has always been a huge part of who I am. Being able to stay connected to that environment through athletic communications while helping support our student-athletes has been an amazing experience. Whether I was filming games, working statistics, or assisting with coverage, I took pride in contributing to our teams' success. I'm grateful to the AIC Athletic Communications staff for their support, and this recognition makes all of the hard work incredibly rewarding," Juliano said.
"I am fortunate to have a staff of student-workers who bring a high level of effort every single day. Kora Juliano stands out even among our incredible group for her commitment to excellence, her willingness to take on any challenge, and her positive attitude no matter the situation. She does so much that I cannot imagine what this year would have been like without her. I am thrilled that she is being recognized for her talent, effort, and dedication to AIC and our student-athletes," said Coordinator of Athletic Communications Seth Dussault '11, 15 M.Ed.
With nearly 150 home events in 2025-26, Juliano was a fixture in the media area for AIC on gameday, taking on a plethora of roles. Her expert camera work captured tremendous moments all year long, not only helping deliver a quality viewing experience for fans and family watching on FloCollege, but also aiding in the creation of highlights for social media.
When she was not filming games, she was equally adept at the stats table, tracking every play and ensuring complete and accurate statistics no matter the sport or statistics platform.
On several occasions, she even combined the roles, communicating information on plays on a headset while filming them as they happened.
Her most critical performances came during baseball season. Using her softball background, she was able to take over the role of primary statistician for the vast majority of the team's games in the spring. With so many of AIC's baseball and softball games overlapping, Juliano's knowledge ensured that both diamonds had quality coverage.
Beyond her own role on any given day, Juliano had the patience and skill to help others, taking the time to ensure new student-workers understood expectations and even helping more veteran staff gain additional skills.
Juliano recently completed her undergraduate degree in three years, graduating cum laude with a health sciences degree. She will continue her studies in the fall as she ultimately pursues a doctorate in physical therapy.
The other student-athletes selected were Annaka Lindstrom of Franklin Pierce University, Emily Alford and Ivan Heywood of Saint Michael's College, and Sawyer Lisowski of Bentley University.
