Seth Dussault

Seth Dussault '11/'15 is in his eighteenth season with the athletic communications staff and eighth full season as the College's Coordinator of Athletic Communications, serving as the primary media contact for the college's athletic teams.

Dussault is best known for serving behind the microphone at AIC as the lead play-by-play commentator for most of the college's teams on its athletics webcasts through FloSports; he has called over 2000 games for the Yellow Jackets, including multiple conference championship wins for women's volleyball and ice hockey.

In addition to his broadcasting duties, Dussault has been heavily involved in the media aspect of the athletics program at AIC since his arrival as a student in the fall of 2007. As a student, he was a member of the Yellow Jacket newspaper staff for over six years, earning the title of Sports Editor in 2008, a job he performed through finishing grad school in 2015. He also was the Sports Editor of the Taper Yearbook in 2011.

Dussault earned the 2017 Team Asset Award from the women's lacrosse squad, and in 2018 earned the first-ever Gary Wright Award from the ice hockey team and was named the Most Dedicated Yellow Jacket of the Year by the athletic department.

Additionally, Dussault has served a number of local sports teams, working as a broadcaster and then the Director of Communications for the Springfield Pics of the United States Premier Hockey League from 2016-18. While with the team, he directed the design of the team's new website. He currently works with the Westfield Starfires of the Futures Collegiate Baseball League, serving as the team's statistician in its inaugural summer of 2019 and then as its first play-by-play voice beginning with the 2020 campaign; in 2024 he was named the team's Director of Communications, and oversees the communications staff, leading media outreach, website, statistics, and the team's broadcasts on the FCBL Network.

A native of Easthampton, Massachusetts, Dussault graduated from Easthampton High School in 2007. He earned his Bachelor’s in history in May 2011 at AIC, graduating with honors. He then earned a Master's in special education from the college in December 2015.

Dussault is the son of Tina Mattei (Dussault) and the nephew of the late Raymond Laflam; he is the proud uncle of his nephews Connor, Chase, Colin, and niece Freya. He presently resides in Springfield.
