Penmen push past Women's Lacrosse in road finale

HOOKSETT, New Hampshire - The American International College women's lacrosse team fell in a 21-5 match at Northeast 10 Conference foe Southern New Hampshire University on Wednesday, April 15.

AIC is now 1-12 overall and 0-7 in the NE10.

AIC countered a goal the Penmen scored just 10 seconds in with one at the 39-second mark; Kaileigh Kelleher finished a feed from Isabelle Stone. However, that was it for the Yellow Jackets until Gabrielle Walz closed the half with a solo goal at 14:22 of the second, leaving AIC down 15-2 at the break.

The third was quiet; the Penmen scored two early, and the last goal of the frame was Walz, unassisted, at 5:19.

Stone and Kelleher each scored unassisted in the fourth to complete AIC's offensive output.

AIC will return home for a 12:00 p.m. tilt on Saturday, April 18 against Saint Michael's College.
