SPRINGFIELD, Massachusetts - American International College women's lacrosse fell 23-2 to No. 16 Adelphi University in a Northeast 10 Conference matchup at Ronald J. Abdow Field on Friday, March 20.
AIC is now 1-7 overall and 0-3 in NE10 play.Â
Gabrielle Walz scored both of AIC's goals, notching an unassisted man-up tally at 4:59 of the third and finishing a feed on the right side from behind the net by
Isabelle Stone at 8:34 of the fourth, also while the team was playing man-up.
In addition to the goals, Walz won four draw controls and forced two turnovers.
Maggie Kloster made six saves in net, surpassing 250 for her collegiate career.
AIC returns to play Wednesday, March 25 at Franklin Pierce University. The opening draw is slated for 4:00 p.m.
