ROCKVILLE CENTRE, New York - The American International College women's lacrosse team fell 19-4 to Molloy University on Saturday, February 28.
AIC is now 0-2 on the year.
AIC's lone first-half goal was scored by Kathryn Letteri on a pass from
Isabelle Stone at 12:09 of the first quarter.
Gabrielle Walz scored twice in the third, both on solo efforts, with a man-up goal at 3:44 and an even-strength tally at 10:35.
Walz then set up AIC's final tally in the fourth, a strike by
Mackenna Donohue at 11:52.
Maggie Kloster made nine saves in the setback.
AIC will head south next to face Coker University on Saturday, March 7. Opening draw is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
