SPRINGFIELD, Massachusetts - For the second season in a row, the National Intercollegiate Rugby Association Division II National Champion American International College women's rugby team earned nine All-NIRA selections, the association announced on Friday, February 20.

Six were selected to the First-Team, and three earned Honorable Mention.

AIC's front row was well-represented, as Jendell Moe and Camryn Henderson earned the nods at loose-head prop and hooker, respectively. Both were honored for the second straight season on the first team, and Henderson's honor caps a campaign that saw her earn NIRA Championship MVP.

Naomi Dodd, the team's leading scorer, was the top vote-getter and earned the spot at blind-side flanker for the second consecutive season.

Team captain and three-time national champion Annekkia Ritter-Truxal grabbed her first First-Team honor as the scrum half, leading a trio of First-Team backs for AIC. Morgan Schechter grabbed her third consecutive All-NIRA honor at fly half; the versatile player was First-Team in 2023 and Honorable Mention in 2024. Finally, Kiyanah Edwards was named First-Team for the second time at fullback.

For the Honorable Mentions, Mariah Cuarenta and Mahina Hafoka both earned the first honors of their careers as lock and outside center, while Venise Sanft grabbed her third recognition at inside center; she was also Honorable Mention in 2023 and First-Team in 2024.

AIC opens its spring 7s season on Monday, February 23 at Army West Point.
