GREENWOOD, Indiana – A dozen American International College student-athletes earned 2025 College Sports Communicators At-Large Academic All-District honors, the organization announced on Tuesday, June 17.

The CSC At-Large Academic All-District and All-America Awards cover sports that do not have a specific Academic All-District and All-America program, and includes field hockey, ice hockey, men's and women's lacrosse, and men's volleyball.
To qualify, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, and hold a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.50 on a four-point scale, and must have appeared in 90 percent or started at least 66 percent of a team's games. Institutions may nominate six athletes from men's sports and six from women's sports in total.
On the men's side, Willie Lopez-Morales,
Fabian Lugo, and
Aidan Miller of men's volleyball were honored, alongside
Jordan Boyenko and
Ryan Levis of men's lacrosse and
Oscar Geschwind of ice hockey.
Three athletes each from field hockey and women's lacrosse earned the recognition;
Justine Lalli,
Morgan Martellio, and
Dominique Bassallo of field hockey were recognized, as were
Isabelle Stone,
Robin Trombly, and
Gabrielle Walz of women's lacrosse.
Lalli, Martellio, Walz, and Trombly were repeat winners from the 2023-24 At-Large Academic All-District Team. The trio of Lugo, Miller, and Lopez-Morales are the first three men's volleyball players from AIC to earn the honor.
