Bentley pulls away in second half to beat Men's Lacrosse

WALTHAM, Massachusetts - The American International College men's lacrosse team kept the first half close in an eventual 16-4 Northeast-10 Conference defeat at Bentley University on Saturday, April 5.

AIC is now 2-8 overall and 0-5 in the NE10.

Jordan Boyenko opened the scoring on a feed from Tyler Goode at 3:06. The Falcons scored the next three goals, but an unassisted effort by Seven Gillingham brought AIC within 3-2 at 10:39, a score that held through the rest of the first.

The Falcons scored two quick goals early, but both teams were able to lock in and slow the scoring down. AIC cut the deficit back to 5-3 as Goode set up Boyenko again at 10:14, but the Falcons notched three goals in the final stretch of the half to build an 8-3 advantage heading into halftime.

Bentley pulled away in the third with six goals, and scored another to start the fourth. Jacob Ligor broke the run at 10:36 of the fourth, finishing a feed from Camden MacDonald, and Bentley hit the net one final time to close the 16-4 result.

Logan Dobrowski made 12 saves in the loss.
