COLCHESTER, Vermont - The American International College women's lacrosse team dropped an 18-4 Northeast-10 Conference contest at Saint Michael's College on Saturday, April 19.
AIC is now 2-13 overall and 0-9 in the NE10.
The Purple Knights scored three quick goals before AIC lit the lamp at 4:30 as Gabrielle Walz scored. Saint Michael's scored the final three of the period for a 6-1 lead, and the first three of the second as well. AIC notched two goals in the second as Isabelle Stone set up Jordyn Galgay and Walz scored an extra-player free position goal, but the Purple Knights led 12-3 at the halftime break.
Saint Michael's scored three times in the third and three more in the fourth, while AIC's final tally came at 7:22 of the fourth, a Kathryn Letteri finish off of a feed from Galgay.
Maggie Kloster stopped 12 shots in the setback.
AIC closes the 2025 campaign at home on Wednesday, April 23 against Southern Connecticut State University. The 5:00 p.m. start will serve as the team's senior night.
