Soto Burgos earned her third All-East selection, having previously been recognized in 2022 and 2023. She joins Andrea Serra Rosa as the only three-time AVCA First-Team All-East Region selections in program history and the fourth to win three AVCA All-Region honors of any sort in an AIC uniform, alongside Serra Rosa with four and three each for Dolores Kopren and Naomi Eckert Rivera.
Named an AVCA Demonstrator Scholarship Recipient, Soto Burgos ranks in the top ten in AIC history in a wide range of categories, including sixth in matches played with 124, sixth in kills with 1180, tenth in aces with 129, fifth in block assists with 189, and fifth in points with 1427.
Rosa earned her first All-Region selection, and like Soto Burgos is among the most statistically significant players in program history at her position. The team's starting libero all four seasons at AIC, Rosa ranks third in digs in program history with 1558, making her one of only three players in program history to surpass the 1500-dig mark.
She is a three-time Northeast 10 Conference All-Conference selection, earning All-Rookie in 2022 as well as All-Tournament honors, and was named NE10 Second-Team All-Conference in both 2024 and 2025.
Perez Cortes also earned her first-ever All-Region honor on the heels of a fantastic season where she garnered her first-ever NE10 First-Team All-Conference honor as well as an All-Tournament selection. Across 62 career matches she has 513 kills, including a team-best 251 in 2025.
As First-Team selections, both Soto Burgos and Rosa will advance to the AVCA All-America ballot; those winners will be announced on Wednesday, December 10.
