Men's Soccer comes up short at Adelphi

GARDEN CITY, New York - The American International College men's soccer team fell 2-0 to Adelphi University in Northeast 10 Conference play on Saturday, October 18.

AIC is now 1-6-4 overall and 0-4-1 in the NE10.

Adelphi took an early 1-0 lead as Rory Duggan found Ryan Holt open for a shot and a goal at 8:37.

In the second half, the Panthers added another goal, this time with Sam Nolan setting up Lucas Nicolaou at 51:54. 

Javier Solá Martínez made seven saves in the setback.

AIC returns to action and opens a stretch of four games out of five at home on Wednesday, October 22 with a 7:00 p.m. kickoff against Bentley University.
