SPRINGFIELD, Massachusetts - The American International College men's volleyball team was swept, 3-1 and 3-0, by D'Youville University in a two-game series held March 10-11 at the Butova Gym.

AIC falls to 2-14 on the season.

In the first meeting, the Saints rolled to an early 2-0 lead, hitting .344 as they won 25-15 and 25-19. AIC battled back in the third, ringing up a dozen kills to take the set 25-23, but the Saints took the fourth 25-15 to win the match.

The second meeting saw D'Youville go 3-0 as AIC hit just .054. The Saints took the match with set scores of 25-18, 25-19, 25-17.

John Rivera Ortiz led AIC with 17 kills across the two matches. Michael Maldonado collected 49 assists.

AIC will next host Rivier on Tuesday, March 14 at 7:00 p.m.
