The American International College men's volleyball team played a pair of contests at Merrimack College and Long Island University on March 17-18, falling 3-1 to the Warriors and 3-0 to the Sharks.

AIC is now 2-16 on the season.

The Yellow Jackets took the first set against Merrimack, 25-19, but the Warriors bounced back to take the second set 25-17. That set up a tight battle the rest of the way, but the host Warriors had a slight edge, winning the third set 25-22 and the fourth 25-23 to take the match.

Against LIU, AIC's offense scuffled, and the Sharks took full advantage of it to take the match in straight sets, 25-14, 25-19, 25-14.

AIC aims to turn its fortunes around on Wednesday, March 22 against Rivier University.
