HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Pioneers controlled the first set from the start as they took the set 25-11.
- Trailing 13-3 the Yellow Jackets went on a 4-0 run that included a block by rookies Alex Marinaro and Wilmer Rodriguez. That run was the best of the set for the Yellow Jackets as SHU took the set 25-13.
- In the third set AIC trailed 22-10 when a kill by Rodriguez and an error by SHU made it a 10-point game. It was not enough as the Pioneers took the set 25-14.
