COLCHESTER, Vermont - The American International women's soccer team lost 1-0 to St. Michael's College in the first overtime after a close 90 minutes of action on Saturday, September 18.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Yellow Jackets led the contest in shots on goal, registering three total and a combined 13 shots attempted to St. Michael's combined eleven through overtime. Caroline Porter notched four of those 13 attempts and one shot on goal in the first half. However, none of these attempts were enough to end the game in regulation.
- The Purple Knights capitalized on a close catch but ultimately a miss by Tamra Zippin in front of the net. Christina Cummings then jumped on the loose ball and buried it in the left side of the net behind Zippin in the 93rd minute.
