HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Penmen jumped out to a 2-0 lead on goals by Cole Jacobsen and Chris Valentine, but the Yellow Jackets bounced back, as sophomore Devon Walker struck at 11:16 and redshirt sophomore Avery Foye tied the game 2-2 at 12:25, sending the teams into the break even.
- Valentine broke the tie early in the second, and Stephen Dubois put the hosts up 4-2 at 10:35, but redshirt sophomores Rusty Stone and Jason Vickery connected for a late tally, as Vickery hit the net at 13:56 to cut the deficit to 4-3 at halftime.
- Out of the stoppage, junior Clark Marchand tied the game with a tally at 1:08.
- The Penmen went on a run from there, taking a 9-4 edge through 45 minutes.
- SNHU added to its lead, with a goal by Foye late the last strike in the game as the Penmen won 15-5.
