SPRINGFIELD, Massachusetts - The American International College field hockey team fell 2-1 to Southern New Hampshire University in a Northeast-10 Conference matchup on Tuesday, October 26.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Penmen drew a wealth of corners in the first and hit a pair of posts before ultimately scoring the game's first goal, as Taylor Marchman smacked home a rebound at 13:28.
- The Yellow Jackets drew a corner of their own in the third and leveled the score. A pass across from junior Shannon Cormier to classmate Camarin Cook set up a shot from the left side, and graduate student Nadia Elcock pushed the rebound home for her second of the year at 4:37.
- The visitors controlled play in the third, and late in the frame, they struck again. On another corner, Marchman was able to stuff a loose ball into the left corner of the cage at 14:32.
- AIC dominated the fourth, outshooting the Penmen 7-2, but Kate Pigsley made four of her seven stops in the period to keep the guests ahead and ultimately earn the win.
