HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Yellow Jackets scored early in the first half as sophomore Jessica Berggren muscled her way through a pack of Colgate players and scored the first try of the game at 38:03 up the left side. Co-captain Kassidy Pothier then added a beautiful conversion to top it all off and bring the Yellow Jackets into the lead 7-0.
- However, the Yellow Jackets didn't stop there and kept putting pressure on Colgate. Keeping the majority of play in Raider's territory to put three more tries past their defense. Freshman Louisa Justice kick-started the offensive onslaught with a successful try, followed by K. Pothier's conversion bringing the score to 14-0.
- From there sophomore Suley Guerrero added two more tries of her own, five minutes apart at 31:38 and 26:08, to bring the score to 28-0 with two successful conversions from K. Pothier. Her two runs were almost mirror images of each other, up the right side of the field with almost no one around her to stop her crusade.
- Brooke Helman kept the pace going in the first half with her try down the middle, however, a missed conversion by K. Pothier brought the score to 33-0 at the 15:36 mark. With 11:58 remaining in the first half Guerrero struck again up the right side but another miss by K. Pothier gave the Yellow Jackets a 38-0 lead.
- Keiani Pangelinan and Dominique Ray each scored a try with Pangelinan's coming at 8:01 and Ray's beating the buzzer with 0:00 on the scoreboard. K. Pothier added two perfect conversions to give the Yellow Jackets a 52-0 lead at the half.
- The second half proved just as fruitful for the Yellow Jackets as Pangelinan struck again for her second try of the night at 37:03. K. Pothier's miss at the conversion left the Yellow Jackets with a 57-point lead. Followed by Annekkia Ritter-Truxal's try at the 27:32 mark up the right side of the field with a conversion by K. Pothier to bring AIC's score to 64-0.
- The night didn't stop there as Justice and Julia Milov added two tries within four minutes with one-out-of-two successful conversions to give them a 76-point lead. Berggren scored again, her second of the night, five minutes later to give an 83-0 lead at the 14:34 mark with a conversion by Allison Pothier.
- The Raiders succeeded in ruining the AIC shutout when Hannah Meyerowitz scored for her team up the right side of the field with 7:40 remaining in the second half.
- AIC responded with K. Pothier adding another try to the scoreboard at the 3:32 mark to bring the final score to 90-5 with an assist by her sister A. Pothier who kicked a perfect conversion.
