WALTHAM, Massachusetts - The American International women's soccer team won 1-0 over Northeast 10 opponent Bentley University on Friday, October 15.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• The Yellow Jackets and Falcons were closely matched in the first half leaving the scoreboard empty after 45 minutes of play. AIC tallying the lone shot on goal by Gabby Williams which Falcons goalie Kat Hassapis saved bottom center.
• Carey Reese opened up the only scoring this matchup had to offer as she was able to get past Hassapis and found the back of the net in the 64^th minute. Freshman Rachel Newman tallied her first career assist on the play.
• The Yellow Jackets were able to continue their offensive performance through the second half as they added two more shots on goal. However, Hassapis and Zippin both put up valiant efforts but ultimately the Yellow Jackets came out on top.
