HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Golden Knights opened the scoring, as Deanna Ciliento took advantage of a turnover to finish, but AIC countered with a ten-goal run keyed by three goals in thirty seconds by junior Molly Leavitt, senior Devin Coulter, and freshman Liz Day early in the run. Coulter notched three of the 10 goals in the stretch.
- Saint Rose broke the streak, but AIC quickly countered as Day notched another goal, and AIC finished the half strong, as Coulter scored on a play started by senior Chelsea Davis in AIC's net; the keeper passed over the middle of the field to sophomore Madi Bis, who in turn found Coulter open for a breakaway. Sophomore Sam Giordano ended the half with a goal to give AIC a 13-2 lead at the break.
- Juniors Emilee Giacondino and Brianna O'Brien each scored in the first five minutes of the second half, and Leavitt made it three hat tricks for AIC by the 40-minute mark. The Golden Knights scraped a few goals of their own together, but Coulter and Day finished off the offense and AIC earned its first conference win, taking the game 18-6.
