HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Penmen got off to a hot start, opening the scoring at 0:55 of the first frame and striking eight times.
- The visiting team's run continued with five more goals in the second and three in the third.
- AIC finally broke the shutout in the fourth, as senior midfielder Quinn Caesar hit the twine at 2:24. The Penmen put home two in the middle of the period, and freshman attacker Avery Foye closed out the scoring with three seconds left in regulation for the 18-2 final.
