HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Buccaneers got on the board early with a fielder's choice in the first inning.
- The following inning, Barry added on four more runs as they found the gaps in the outfield to make it 5-0.
- Junior outfielder Matt Krause found the gap in left center to give AIC their first run of the game, but Barry responded in the bottom half of the third with a run of their own to make it 6-1.
- In the top of the fifth, the Yellow Jackets tacked on one more run after freshman infielder Cam Defeo belted his first collegiate home run to cut the Buccaneers' lead down to four.
- In the bottom half of the fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth innings, the Buccaneers pilled on one run each to defeat AIC 10-2.
