- The following inning, Nova Southeastern piled in three more runs, connecting on two RBI singles and scoring on a fielding error.
- No. 19 Nova Southeastern wasn't finished yet, driving a shot over the wall in left center, scoring two runs in the bottom half of the third, 8-0.
- Errors were an issue for the Yellow Jackets finishing with seven total, but Nova Southeastern showed why they were the 19th best team in the nation, defeating AIC 9-0.
HOW IT HAPPENED GAME TWO:
- After going scoreless in the first two innings, AIC scored first when junior Matt Costanza reached on an error, scoring senior Brendan Carter and freshman Cam Defeo.
- Two at-bats later, redshirt junior Andrew Ciacciarelli singled through the left side to score Costanza, 3-0.
- Sophomore pitcher Joe Kemlage was dealing throughout the game, going hitless in the first 5.1 innings pitched.
- Kemlage ended up going the distance, throwing a complete game shutout in a 3-0 win over Molloy.
