SPRINGFIELD, Massachusetts - The American International College women's soccer team fell 2-0 on senior day to Pace University on Saturday, November 2.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Before the start of the match, AIC celebrated senior day for eight Yellow Jackets. The eight seniors recognized were Paige Medeiros, Alanna Gracia, Megan McGuill, Molly Serra, Jennifer Hackett, Jocylyn Deome, Haley Wheeler, and Jacinda McCartney.
- In the first 12 minutes of action, sophomore keeper Tamra Zippin saw three shots and saved all three attempts. The Setters eventually got one past Zippin in the first half, Shannon Glenn gave Pace a 1-0 advantage in the 40th minute on a kick she sent over her head and past the Yellow Jacket defenders.
- Just over 60 minutes into the game, Marta Sadornil fired a shot on target for the Setters, but Zippin was there for the save. However, off the Zippin rebound, Amanda Duddy scored Pace's second goal of the match and put her team up 2-0.
- The two goals from the Setters were enough to defeat the Yellow Jackets 2-0.
UP NEXT:
- AIC will host Southern New Hampshire on Tuesday, November 5, at 4 p.m.
- This will be the Yellow Jackets' final match of the season.
