MANCHESTER, New Hampshire - The American International College Football team hit the road for the second time this season as they took on the Hawks of Saint Anselm College on Saturday, September 22. The Hawks withstood a late AIC comeback to take the game 29-21.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Hawks received the ball to start the half and drove the ball 59 yards on 13 plays that ended with a 25-yard field goal to give them the 3-0 lead.
- On the ensuing kickoff, redshirt-sophomore Fabian Thames ran it back for 52-yards to the Saint Anselm 25-yard line. On the next play, redshirt-freshman quarterback Prince Olubakinda, in his first career start, found redshirt-senior wide receiver Lennox Green Jr. for a 25-yard touchdown. Redshirt-freshman kicker Gianni Romeo nailed the extra point to give AIC the 7-3 lead.
- Two drives later, the Yellow Jackets had the ball at their own 30 yard line when Olubakina found Green Jr., this time for a 70-yard touchdown to extend the Yellow Jacket lead to 14-3.
- Saint Anselm answered with a 12 play, 75-yard drive that ended in the touchdown to make it 14-9. With 7:45 left in the first half, the Hawks found the end zone again and took the 15-14 lead.
- The Hawks scored on their final two possessions of the half to give them the 29-14 lead at the break.
- On the last Yellow Jacket drive that started in the third quarter, Olubakinda hit Olivier Georges, a redshirt-sophomore hybrid, for a 17-yard reception that ended up as a touchdown to make it 29-21.
GAME NOTES:
- Olubakinda threw his second and third passing touchdowns of his career in his first career start. His first touchdown came against Pace University on September 15.
- Lennox Green Jr. matched his season high touchdown record with two touchdowns at Saint Anselm. Last season, he had two touchdowns, one against LIU Post and one at New Haven.
