ALBANY, New York - The American International College women's soccer team squared off against the College of Saint Rose in a conference matchup that went down to the wire.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Redshirt junior Mikayla Demanche was once again impressive in the first half. For the fourth time in this young season, Demanche has shutout the opposing team during the first half of play.
- The rain was falling throughout the whole game but that didn't stop the Yellow Jackets from getting shots on net. AIC finished the half with five shots on goal, but all five were saved by the Golden Knights goalkeeper.
- AIC earned the first goal of the night in the 66th minute. The goal was scored by senior midfielder Federica Frew, her first goal of the season.
- In the 83rd minute, Saint Rose tied the game with a much needed goal scored by senior forward Morgan Burchhardt.
- In overtime, redshirt junior Anniina Sankoh scored the game winning goal off a header from Frew.
