HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Queens jumped out to an early 2-0 lead on quick strikes from Mary Pat Gibble and Patriece Ausili inside of the first two minutes.
- AIC turned the score around in a 2:20 span midway through the frame; freshman attacker Devin Coulter scored on a pass from Mary Bates at 8:42, junior midfielder Mikayla Demanche tied the game at 9:21, and senior defender Jessica Fontana stole the ball at the restraining line and ran length of the field to score the go-ahead goal at 11:02.
- The offensive outburst continued as the Yellow Jackets extended the lead to 7-2 by the half, with freshman attackers Brianna O'Brien and Emilee Giacondino scoring, Fontana executing another end-to-end goal, and Coulter finishing out the half at 26:13.
- Though Queens scored off of the first possession of the second half, AIC built the lead up quickly, with senior attacker Brittany Hutchison netting back-to-back goals, followed by O'Brien and Giacondino scoring before the half was four minutes old.
- Demanche and Coulter scored a set of goals, bookending a 2-0 run by Queens that brought the score up to 13-5; junior midfielder Lauren Witherspoon and junior attacker Mary Bates pushed the edge up to 10 with just over 10 minutes left.
- Down the stretch, Giacondino scored her third, fourth, and fifth goals of the game to help build up to the final, while also assisting on freshman attack Reagan Nichols' goal.
NOT PLAYING LIKE ROOKIES:
- Giacondino, Coulter, and O'Brien are three of the top four scorers on the team in the early going of their freshmen seasons. In particular, Giacondino leads the team with 11 goals and is second behind Hutchison with 12 points; her 11 goals have her fourth in the NE10.
OFFENSIVE EXPLOSION:
- AIC has scored 51 goals in its first four games, up from 39 in the first four games from last season.
- The Yellow Jackets are on pace to score 217 goals, which would break the record of 211 set by the 2010 team for most in program history.

- AIC continues the road trip with a Thursday matinee at Bridgeport on March 8 at 2 p.m.
