LAST TIME OUT:
  • AIC came out on the wrong end of a 13-4 decision against Saint Rose on Tuesday, March 27.
  • Freshman attacker Rawill Herrera scored three of AIC's four goals.
  • The Chargers also played Tuesday, losing 9-4 against Molloy.
  • Christian Hernandez and Marcos Pierce each scored twice in the setback.
LAST TIME THEY MET: SCOUTING THE CHARGERS:
  • Dominican may be winless, but they have been competitive, with close losses against Palm Beach Atlantic, Franklin Pierce, and the recent game against Molloy.
  • Pierce is the leading scorer as well as top playmaker, but Michael Reyes has also netted seven goals in seven games; Chris Heegan and Christian Hernandez also each average at least one point per game.
  • Matthew Sandelier has been the team's primary starter in goal, but Joseph Fabiilli has started twice and appeared in three other games as well; the Chargers are likely to switch goalkeepers mid-game, as John Rooney also has three appearances in net for Dominican this season.
HISTORICAL RECORD:
  • Since the two teams first met on March 25, 2009, the Yellow Jackets are 1-6 against Dominican.
  • AIC's lone win in the all-time series was a 14-10 victory on April 9, 2014; Justin Bard and Bobby Spano each collected four goals and three assists.
THREE-IN-FIVE STRETCH:
  • Thanks to a make-up game, the Yellow Jackets play three times in five days.
  • The remaining game in the month of March is a visit on Saturday, March 31 to defending regional champion and national No. 2 Merrimack.
