Field hockey stopped by SNHU

HOOKSETT, New Hampshire - The American International College field hockey team was defeated by Southern New Hampshire University by a 5-0 score in a Northeast-10 Conference game on Wednesday, October 17.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
  • Maddie Holt opened the scoring early for the Penmen, tallying from a pass through the left side from Cassidy Huckins for her sixth of the year at 6:08.
  • AIC generated two corners in the half, but only one shot on goal, a bid from senior forward Meghan Brock that was turned aside by Melanie Rennie.
  • SNHU doubled the lead in the second half, as Faye Turkmen ripped home a shot on a corner at 48:26.
  • The Penmen scored three times in a 1:49 span, with Huckins netting a pair in just 45 seconds at 62:18 and 63:03 for the 5-0 final.
