COACH'S NOTES:
- "We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day to honor our lone senior, Alice Calabrese," said AIC tennis coach Loni Hammons. "Sickness and injury have plagued us a bit this season, but Alice has been determined to not let that bench her. While this is only my second conference season working with Alice, she has proven to be dedicated to improvement as a player and a person. I have watched her grow so much both on and off the court, and I am very proud of how far she has come. She really has earned the team captain position. Alice's advocacy for our team and engagement in AIC is really something that her younger teammates can aspire toward. I know her scores are not reflecting her efforts, but her improvement point-by point is really well fought. She can see that, her teammates can see that, and I can see that - day-by-day, point-by-point. We are getting stronger as a team."
