Loni Hammons returned to AIC to serve as Interim Head Coach of women's tennis in late September 2022, and was named Co-Head Coach following that season.

In her previous stint as the head coach of the program from February 2017 to August 2019, Hammons had a player named to the Northeast-10 Conference All-Rookie team. Meritxell Jimeno-Vicente earned the honor for the 2017 season and Sophie Roberge took the accolade in 2018. Additionally, under her tutelage, Alice Calabrese '19 was named the 2019 Yellow Jacket of the Year.

Hammons has additionally worked at the Macduffie School, serving as Residential Assistant and tennis coach from 2015-17 and again as Residential Assistant from 2021 to the present. 

She has a bachelor's degree in psychology from Northern Kentucky University.
