PLEASANTVILLE, New York - The American International College women's soccer team fell short against Pace University in a Northeast-10 Conference matchup on Wednesday, October 10.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Yellow Jacket defense was impressive during the first half, shutting out the Setters as redshirt junior goalkeeper Mikayla Demanche made four saves in the half.
- AIC would strike first in the 22nd minute, with junior forward Jacinda McCartney scoring a goal off a pass from freshman midfielder Devon Wondolowski. The Yellow Jackets led at the half, 1-0.
- In the second half, Pace would respond in the 63rd minute to tie the game.
- In the 84th minute, the Setters would take a 2-1 lead. Senior forward Victoria Kealy scored the goal off an impressive shot outside of the box.
- The go-ahead goal from Kealy would be enough for the Setters, resulting in a 2-1 loss for the Yellow Jackets.
