SPRINGFIELD, Massachusetts - The American International College men's soccer team was edged out by Le Moyne College in a narrow contest on Wednesday, September 20.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• AIC outshot the Dolphins 10-9 throughout the contest - including 5-4 in the first half - but Le Moyne would strike first when a ball found the head of Niklas Breunung in the 12^th minute.
• The Yellow Jackets' three shots on goal in the second half - including a pair from Steven Hernandez - would not be enough to tie the game.

GAME NOTES:

• This is the first time this season the Yellow Jackets have been shut out.
• Wednesday's loss was the first time AIC has fallen to Le Moyne since 2014; in both 2015 and 2016, the Dolphins and Yellow Jackets played to a draw.
